Julie is the co-owner and founder of The Blue Mambo. She has been styling hair since she was 18 and is a true veteran of the beauty and style industry in Houston.
Julie specializes in classy, edgy looks, and is known for her amazing coloring skills, including highlighting and color correction. She also specializes in perms.
She has been published in countless national and local magazines throughout the course of her career.

Ronnie trained at Vidal Sassoon in London many moons ago. He specializes in stylish easy to manage cuts and color.
He has built an eclectic clientele that have become his best friends and he always welcomes new members to his family.

Mathew has been with Blue Mambo since a 1988. He specializes in WASH AND GO haircuts and is definitely one of the best hair cutters in Houston. He offers a unisex service ranging from pixies, bobs, long cuts, mens cuts and textured layers. Mathew is a master in both precision and natural, movimental cuts offering alternative geometrical styles to softer finishes.
He has an artistic eye and specializes in wash and go cuts, that emphasizes not only your personality but the natural state of your hair, allowing you the ability to never use round brushes or irons. He is also super nice !

Creative, versatile and passionate about her craft, Melissa Simon has been able to establish herself as an international hairstylist.
After attaining her cosmetology license, Melissa decided to pursue her dream and move to Europe. in Europe, Melissa trained/worked with Tony & Guy, Vidal Sassoon, Rossano Ferretti and later became a partner of 5 hair salons and school with Chioma Parrucchieri in Parma, Italy. Melissa’s work appeared on numerous hairshows and magazines while collaborating with L’oreal Professional.
Melissa is back and is excited about working with the Blue Mambo team and is ready to share her knowledge and experience to her hometown.

Norma has been in the hair industry for over nine years. She specializes in haircuts, styles, color (highlights, foliage, etc) and treatments.
She truly enjoys her work, and strives to offer her best and show you how amazing your hair can be!

Passionate and seasoned hairstylist with 17 years of hands-on experience in the artistry of hairdressing.

Marcie is the newest stylist to the Blue Mambo and comes with incredible experience, as she’s been doing hair for over 20 years!
She began her career in Los Angeles and grew up in the industry studying at the Vidal Sassoon Academy and apprenticing under master trainers. Over the years she’s resided in San Francisco, Palm Springs, and San Diego. During that time she’s worked in salons, owned salons, styled for editorial shoots, runway shows, and ad campaigns.
Her salon skill set and client focus lies in color-correcting, blonding, and coloring transformations!

Judith has been with the Blue Mambo since 2015. She’s very grateful to have learned from all the established stylists that been with Blue Mambo. The continued education I ave and will continue to have in order to keep my craft up, not just for me, but those who sit in my chair, grows everyday.
She loves doing balayages, cool vivids, blondes, color corrections, or any major changes. Even if you’re not quite sure what you want, Judith can help guide you. Honesty and transparency are her #1 policy, so from the moment you sit down to the moment you get up, you feel comfortable and confident.

Lionel is an amazing and fun hair stylist with 24 years of experience from Houston to New York and has been a member of the Blue Mambo family for 22 years.
He specializes in all over color, highlights and balayages, women's and men's cuts, updo's, weddings and special events.

Christian is a graduate of Modern Barber College and has been cutting hair for over two years.
He specializes in fades, clipper cuts, and mens cuts and coloring.
Christian’s barber skills brings a whole new experience and clientele to the Blue Mambo.
